The client Myers Control Power had many moving parts including equipment suppliers some requiring an 18 months lead time for manufacturing, shipping and ultimate storage once on site prior to installation. The Primavera Consultants Team needed to harmonize the schedule with Earn value (EV) being tracked in Excel and allow the Contractor’s staff to see the project impacts from a current state perspective. This was accomplished using Primavera P6 reporting, resource profile curves and stacked histograms associated with forecasting manpower, etc. Our Primavera Consultants Team helped mentor younger team members, walking them through all CPM and project related processes ensuring clear awareness of all the moving parts.
